Meet Gary & Katherine

Gary Anderson

Gary Anderson started Aquatic Life in 2014 to help change the drowning rates for children with Autism and other disabilities.  Gary was a two time Olympian representing Canada and swam for the University of Southern California during his college career.  He has over 32 years coaching and teaching in aquatics.

Katherine Anderson

Katherine Anderson is a former National Level swimmer from age 12 and has been involved in swimming since age 6.  Katherine swam at a National Level through high school and was recruited by many great universities including Duke, Harvard, Northwestern and the University of Southern California.  She attended the University of Southern California.

Katherine has been a private swim instructor for over 17 years and has years of experience with athletes with disabilities.  After college, Katherine coached national level and age group swimmers for United States Swimming Club California Aquatics and continued to instruct private swimming lessons.  Katherine is certified in CPR, First Aid, AED and a certified American Red Cross Lifeguard.
